The fashion week in New York
autumn-winter edition was, as usual, full of elegance, sensuality and
innovation. This time highlighted the use of vibrant colors and metallic
fabrics. Here is a small collection of some of the trends that occurred this
week.
The Princess Elisabeth, Princess of
Toro in Uganda in the 60s, was the inspiration of the designer, who showed in
his catwalk NYFW a collection in which predominated coats and wraparound
dresses and accompanied with wide layers to cover in the winter. They
highlighted the asymmetric cuts, floral prints and embroidery.
Vera Wang designer ventured
with vibrant colors, transparencies and many sequins as well as your favorite
combination: black and white. They flashed the maxi skirts with opening on one
side, accompanied with velvet belts and short sweaters.
Peter Copping, creative director of the
brand, created a winter collection full of femininity sobriety. Skirts stand
style 'lady like', the torques with wide sleeve jacket and the brocaded
fabrics. Volume was another inevitable, and the red and metallic details.
Emphasized garments for 'normal' woman and left behind the heels or high
heels, betting crusades metal coats, plunging necklines, floral amigos and
volume in dresses and skirts.
